Brief:

This 'Poem-House' is a hand-held 3D object made in response to the same haiku by Basho that inspired my painting From the Heart. Incorporating natural forms, tissue, gauze and gold leaf, suspended on a wire armature, it offers the viewer many perspectives on the poem.
