| One of my "Poem-House" forms, made by covering a wire armature with a delicate collage of hand-painted tissue paper, pressed petals, leaves, gauze, gold leaf and found materials. Text is embedded into the surfaces, using various techniques. This "Poem-House" is inspired by a haiku by Japanese haiku master, Basho: "Come/ see real flowers/ of this painful world". |
